We have flirted with jewelry in a few trading posts on our travels but have just flirted. No spending. Today was a chance in the big town Moab. But after trying, touching, analyzing many earrings, neither of us were convinced that we had found the perfect pair. Quite tiring to shop and not buy anything.
So we had a great lunch to celebrate. We picked up clean laundry from the wash and fold service, grabbed a cup of nice coffee and headed to Arches National Park. https://www.nps.gov/arch/learn/nature/geologicformations.htm
We had planned a long afternoon and sundown in the park. I think that the red rock, the clear cliffs, the vibrant views, the attempt to grasp millions of years of history, the distant mountains, the energetic hikes, the unbelievable arches- it is getting to us. All in a good way. But we needed an evening off.
So we crashed at home and did not see the sunset.
But we got some nice take away food from Peace Tree restaurant and enjoyed it at the big dining room at our bed and breakfast.
So the two tired ladies say good night and look forward to fresh energy tomorrow.
